Horseed village located on the west around 3 KM away of Baidoa town, with its settlement along the main road from Mogadishu to Salamey village of Baidoa town of Somalia. It borders Salamey to the south. In this village farming small livestock and small business plays the main livelihood component depending on the magnitude of the rain fall during seasons. During raining seasons, the livestock sellers can easily get access and crosses through bridge, those cannot go to the livestock market, due to the spring which runs a lot of water and cannot cross it. The business peoples can cross the spring without problem, while now they cannot go to the main market, due to the spring which a lot of water flooding through all the raining season. Farmers from the agro postural village at that side can get daily access. Those cannot cross this valley whole the days of the raining. The pastoralist bringing the milk into main market can get daily access too. Those cannot come the raining days in to market .The pastoralist bringing livestock into Animal market for sell can easily crosses. Those were not able to cross the valley. The resident of Salaamey villages can get access in any time without going long distance. Those cannot go to main market now, unless they go long distance looking for bridge to cross over the spring. Through joint community discussions among the community groups was representing Salaamey village, it has been fully agreed and selected that the first priority is construction of Rehabilitation of Galgal-Gobane Road infrastructure. which is very important for whole community of Baidoa town and the surrounding villages, because this road will connect from ago pastoral village to Horseed through Salamey village to Baidoa main market and animal main market which are back born of their economic of these communities without this connection during the raining season these will not able to reach this main markets and be isolated in their location until the spring reduces the running water sometimes lasts two months.
