ADAADA ROAD REHABILITATION

Adaada village located on the North around 2 KM away of Baidoa town. It borders Daarusalam to the south. In this village farming small livestock and small business plays the main livelihood component depending on the magnitude of the rain fall during seasons. This villages is hope for many business people including small and medium shops, hotels, restaurants and other trading activities. The business peoples can cross the spring without problem, while now they cannot go to the main market, due to the spring which a lot of water flooding through all the raining season. Farmers from the agro postural village at that side can get daily access. The pastoralist bringing the milk into main market can get daily access too. Those cannot come the raining days in to market .The pastoralist bringing livestock into Animal market for sell can easily crosses. Those were not able to cross the valley. Through joint community discussions among the community groups was representing Salaamey village, it has been fully agreed and selected that the first priority is construction of Rehabilitation of Road infrastructure. which is very important for whole community of Baidoa town and the surrounding villages, because this road will connect from ago pastoral village to Horseed through Salamey village to Baidoa main market and animal main market which are back born of their economic of these communities without this connection during the raining season these will not able to reach this main markets and be isolated in their location until the spring reduces the running water sometimes lasts two months. The Project will use the Bulshokaab platform to track the transactions of the bank accounts and contributions from community members and the diaspora. Through Bulshokaab, members of the public will be able to access these financial transactions by visiting www.Bulshokaab.com. Community contributions amounting to $8,250 are expected to contribute by the residents of Adaada and its diaspora.
